Learning Starts With Inspiration
Riviera Music is owned and operated by Emile Millar. Emile is a local music producer, writer, and teacher. He wrote an award winning musical adventure book for kids called Eagle vs Bear: Adventures of a Child Cub and his songs have been featured in over 80 television shows and movies including Marvel's blockbuster film The Avengers, Fox Searchlight's Waitress, NBC's Parenthood, and many more. He taught music at Vieja Valley Elementary School and was the Theater Director at Crane Country Day School. Featured in several International Film Festivals, Emile recently produced the documentary film More Than Just a Party Band about local legend Spencer Barnitz. Emile also owns Hotel San Luis Records www.hotelsanluisrecords.com a boutique recording studio and record label located in the beautiful Mission Canyon area of Santa Barbara. His newest mission is to create a music learning center and small retail guitar shop offering new and vintage music gear and musician essentials. Emile is passionate about music and looks forward to serving the Santa Barbara music community and inspiring young people to learn, read, and appreciate music.
